I'm deeply sad that our community centre for elderly is earmarked for closure in order to save a small amount from the budgeted expenditure.
It will rip out services for Camden elderly citizens as they depend on it as their life-line for meeting, dining, services, caring and sharing.
We must safeguard the lives of many who are at the autumn in their lives. What kind of society will we be living in where we cannot provide for the basic needs of our vulnerable and aged population!?
