If Millman Street closes.....

If Millman Street closes it will be very sad. People will lose a wonderful place where they can share their lives together and support each other.

Proposed Closure of Millman Street Centre

I'm deeply sad that our community centre for elderly is earmarked for closure in order to save a small amount from the budgeted expenditure.

It will rip out services for Camden elderly citizens as they depend on it as their life-line for meeting, dining, services, caring and sharing.

We must safeguard the lives of many who are at the autumn in their lives. What kind of society will we be living in where we cannot provide for the basic needs of our vulnerable and aged population!?

Closing of our centre

When the centre closes, if it does, the most effect it will have on me is that there will be no more computer lessons which I so look forward to.

I will buy myself a laptop and use it in my flat and how boring that will be!

Also imagine all the muddles I will get into !

If Millman Street closes I won't be able to access my e-mails which will cut me off from my family in the USA and Australia.

Possible Closure of Millman Street

It would be terrible if this wonderful centre had to close. It is a lifeline for my father who attends every day to socialise . . . otherwise he would be looking at four walls alone.
